Mohammad Hassouna

Mohammad Hassouna is a professor and program coordinator at the IAU Institute for American Universities since September 2022, having previously served as an associate professor and scientific coordinator at the Institute For American Universities from January 2014 to September 2020. With consulting experience at Zoi Environment Network from June 2011 to October 2015, Mohammad contributed to significant environmental initiatives, including the Shared Environmental Information System (SEIS) implementation in the Middle East. A researcher and lecturer at the University of Lausanne from September 2007 to August 2010, Mohammad focused on terrestrial natural organic carbon dynamics and environmental analysis. Educationally, Mohammad holds a PhD in Environmental Chemistry from Aix-Marseille University, along with multiple degrees in related fields, including an MS in Ecology and Earth Sciences and a BA in Biology and Biochemistry.
