Enid Rocha Andrade da Silva is a senior researcher at the Instituto de Pesquisa Econômica Aplicada (Ipea), where tenure began in August 1995. Enid specializes in public policy planning and research, focusing on social policies, public management, poverty and inequality, human rights, democracy, social participation, and issues surrounding children, adolescents, gender, and the elderly. Enid has held various leadership roles, including Deputy Director of Social Studies and Policies at Ipea from September 2016 to December 2018 and Director of Communication and Research at the Escola Nacional de Administração Pública (ENAP) from March 2012 to March 2013. Earlier career contributions include advisory roles within the Ministry of Planning and the Presidency of the Republic in social articulation with civil society organizations. Enid holds a Doctorate in Social Sciences from Universidade Estadual de Campinas and has pursued further study as a Visiting Scholar at Stanford University. Academic credentials also include a Master's in Regional Economics and a Bachelor's in Economics, both from Universidade Estadual de Campinas, as well as a Master's in Regional Planning from UFMG.
