Katheryn Brekken, Ph.D., is a Senior Research Analyst at the Institute for Corporate Productivity (i4cp), where responsibilities include leading global studies on talent and workforce development strategies and their effects on market performance and human capital outcomes. Prior to this role, Katheryn served as an Assistant Research Professor at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, focusing on program evaluations related to the Future of Work and the middle class, while also teaching policy courses. Katheryn's experience includes an interim position as Senior Policy Analyst for the Nevada System of Higher Education, as well as extensive roles at the College of Southern Nevada, where Katheryn led fundraising and public affairs efforts. Earlier career experience includes reporting on education and social policy for the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Katheryn holds a Ph.D. in Public Affairs from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and has additional degrees in Public Administration and Journalism.
