Alexandra Martinez

Alexandra Martinez is currently a Special Education Paraeducator at The Institute for Effective Education, focusing on assisting autistic 7th to 12th graders in developing traditional and applied skills. Prior experience includes serving as a Case Manager at Dreams for Change, providing resources to homeless individuals, and working as a Behavior Technician at ABA Adaptive Services, implementing behavior support plans for children. Alexandra has also held customer service roles at UCSD Bookstore, where responsibilities included leading customer service operations and cash handling. As an Undergraduate Instructional Apprentice, Alexandra supported cognitive psychology and research lab courses at UC San Diego. Alexandra's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Arts from UC San Diego, as well as a Master of Science in Criminal Justice, and Alexandra is pursuing a Master of Arts in Special Education and Teaching at the University of the Pacific.
