Christoph Seiffert is a Research and Development Scientist at the Institute for Energy Technology since August 2021. Previously, Christoph held positions as Senior Engineer and Head Engineer at the University of Oslo from February 2017 to July 2021, contributing to the MiNaLab focused on novel semiconductor development. Christoph's tenure at CERN includes roles as a Postdoctoral Researcher at RILIS-ISOLDE from August 2015 to February 2017, managing the Resonance Ionization Laser Ion Source, and as a PhD student at ISOLDE-CERN from February 2011 to November 2014, where research led to the first provision of short-lived radioactive Boron for experiments. Earlier experience includes serving as an Electron Accelerator Operator at Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz from July 2007 to December 2010, ensuring the operational success of the Mainzer Mikrotron electron accelerator. Christoph Seiffert earned a Ph.D. in Physics from Technische Universität Darmstadt (2011-2015) and a Diploma in Physics from Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz (2003-2010).
