Marina Gorbis

Marina Gorbis is the Executive Director at the Institute for the Future since September 1998, where research focuses on innovation at the intersection of new technologies and social organization. Prior to this role, Marina served as Director at SRI International from 1984 to 1998. Marina holds a Master of Public Policy (MPP) and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology, both earned from the University of California, Berkeley, in the early 1980s and late 1970s, respectively.
