Ammaarah F.

Ammaarah F. is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in research, community engagement, and education, focusing on issues related to gender-based violence, health inequality, and inclusivity. Currently serving as a Researcher at the Institute For Voluntary Action Research since November 2023, Ammaarah has also been a Community Ambassador and Researcher at Spark & Co since October 2020, creating resources for communities of colour. Previous roles include Workshop Facilitator at Split Banana, Senior Welfare Advisor at Sufra NW London, and Peer Researcher at The Ubele Initiative, where work addressed sustainable Black and minoritised communities. As an Education and Wellbeing Specialist at Brook and a Consultant for Beyond Equality, Ammaarah delivered workshops on relationships and sexual health. Earlier experience includes youth advocacy and community engagement at the Ashiana Network, supporting women and girls affected by gender-based violence. Ammaarah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Portuguese from King's College London.
