Ruth Stephens

Ruth Stephens is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in grant management and funding initiatives within the public and voluntary sectors. Currently serving as Senior Grant-Making Manager for The National Lottery Community Fund, Ruth also holds the position of Trustee at the Institute For Voluntary Action Research. Previously, Ruth was the Funding and Relationship Manager for the Big Lottery Fund, focusing on Essex applications, and worked at Essex County Council as a Bid Development Officer, fostering relationships to secure funding for public service programs. Ruth's career includes significant roles at the Ethical Property Foundation, where Ruth managed the Property Advice Service, and LawWorks, where Ruth was involved in providing free legal advice to community groups. Ruth holds an LLB in Law from King's College London and A-levels from South East Essex College.
