Dr. Corrine Calice, Ph.D., CPTM has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of knowledge and learning experiences. Corrine started their career in 2000 as a Development Lead at the University of Toledo, where they worked on web-enhanced composition curriculum. Corrine then moved on to Learning Point Associates, where they served as both an Instructional Design and Development Lead and a Program Manager.
In 2008, Dr. Calice joined the University of Illinois Global Campus as an Instructional Designer, where they designed online courses for various departments. During their time there, they also played a pivotal role in the development of an online RN-BSN degree completion program ranked among the top 5 in the nation by US News and World Report. When the Global Campus transitioned to the University of Illinois at Chicago, their role was converted to Program Manager.
In 2010, Dr. Calice joined the University of Illinois at Chicago as a Program Manager and later moved on to Columbia College Chicago in 2016, where they served as an Instructor.
Dr. Calice's most recent work experience was at AHIMA, where they held the position of Director of Online Learning and Instructional Design. Corrine managed a large online education budget and oversaw the coordination of a three-party business process outsourcing agreement.
Currently, Dr. Calice is a Senior Director of Knowledge and Learning Experiences at the Institute of Food Technologists. In this role, they provide direction and management support for the organization's scientific content strategy and knowledge management systems. Corrine is also responsible for implementing educational content and community strategies and overseeing the IFT Annual Event scientific education.
Throughout their career, Dr. Calice has demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing various learning strategies and has a strong focus on innovation and future-forward approaches to education and workforce development.
Corrine Calice, Ph.D., CPTM started their education in 1995 at Wayne State University. Corrine pursued a Ph.D. in English with a certificate in interdisciplinary studies, completing their studies in 2007. In 2016, they also obtained certification as a Certified Professional in Training Management (CPTM) from Training Industry, Inc.
