Murray McCurdy

Murray McCurdy is an accomplished Energy Materials Scientist at GNS Science since January 2021 and serves as the Director at Marula Creative since April 2019. Previously, McCurdy held senior positions at Verum Group as Chief Technology Officer and General Manager - Research Strategy from October 2014 to January 2021, and as Chief Engineer at Nuenz Limited from September 2011 to March 2019, where the focus was on commercializing advanced nanofibre technology. McCurdy's earlier experience includes roles as Technology Marketing Manager, Senior Researcher, and Research Scientist at CRL Energy and a Patent Examiner at the Intellectual Property Office of New Zealand. McCurdy's educational background includes a PhD in Chemical and Process Engineering from the University of Canterbury, a Graduate Diploma in Science (Biochemistry), a Master's in Chemical and Process Engineering, and a New Zealand Diploma in Business, Marketing and Management.
