Paul Jarvis

His research focuses on the physical modelling of magmatic and volcanic systems, with a particular focus on multi-phase flows. Current research involves studying various physical phenomena including tephra transport and sedimentation, the mixing and mingling of magmas and the dynamics of Vulcanian plumes. He is also interested in broader geophysical flows as well as more fundamental fluid dynamics.
