Paul Oluwunmi is a seasoned geoscientist with extensive experience in numerical groundwater modeling and geophysical research. Currently serving as a Numerical Groundwater Modeller at GNS Science since May 2022, Paul has held various academic positions at The University of Auckland from February 2016 to February 2024, including Research Fellow and Graduate Teaching Assistant, focusing on gas hydrate dissociation modeling and tutoring in geoscience subjects. Previous roles include visiting researcher at Berkeley Lab and Graduate Research Assistant at Obafemi Awolowo University, where responsibilities included monitoring laboratory functions. Paul began a career as a Geophysicist at Geokopex Geophysical Services Limited, utilizing geophysical principles to prepare environmental reports and navigational charts. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Geology from The University of Auckland, a Masters of Science by Research from the University of Warwick, and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Geophysics from Obafemi Awolowo University.
