Deepak Jena

Deepak Jena is a bioinformatics professional with extensive experience in both academic and industry settings. Currently serving as Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer at Omixir since May 2023, Deepak Jena aims to leverage genomics for broader societal benefits. Previously, Deepak worked as Project Associate II at the Institute of Life Sciences since July 2022 and held positions as Project Associate I at the Sickle Cell Institute Chhattishgarh from December 2020 to June 2022, and as Project-JRF at the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology from July 2019 to November 2020. Deepak Jena holds a Master of Science in Bioinformatics from Pondicherry University and a Bachelor of Science in Bioinformatics from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar.
