Nina Sylvia Liland is an accomplished researcher and leader in the field of aquaculture nutrition, currently serving as a Research Group Leader and Scientist (PhD) at the Institute of Marine Research (IMR) in Norway since January 2015. Prior to this role, Nina was a PhD student at NIFES, focusing on the effects of alternative feed resources on Atlantic salmon's lipid metabolic health, and also held positions as a research assistant and laboratory assistant. Nina's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Aquaculture Nutrition, a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Aquaculture Nutrition, and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Aquaculture, all obtained from the University of Bergen.
