Paul Magnuson

Paul Magnuson serves as the Manager of Organizational Effectiveness at the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) since November 2019, leading cross-functional evaluation teams to identify performance gaps in various areas within commercial nuclear power plants. Prior to this role, Paul held several leadership positions with INPO, including Corporate Secretary and Staff Assistant to the CEO, and was also a Team Leader for Industry Leadership and Performance Improvement. Paul has extensive experience in nuclear operations, having worked at Exelon Nuclear as an Equipment Reliability Evaluator and Chemistry Supervisor, overseeing critical operations and maintenance processes. Additional experience includes supervisory roles within the US Navy, where Paul led training for submarine crews and managed operations at a nuclear power plant. Paul holds a BS in Economics from the United States Naval Academy and has completed advanced nuclear training, including a Senior Reactor Operator certification from Westinghouse Nuclear.
