Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a background in developing collaborative solutions and educational technologies. Currently employed at SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris has contributed to the development of hardware for DViT interactive whiteboards and flat panels, alongside other educational devices. Previous roles include firmware engineer at SMART Technologies, where firmware and diagnostic tools were developed, and electronics contractor at Science Alberta Foundation, focusing on electronics design for educational programs. Additional experience includes serving as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary and working as an electronics engineer at Grindcom, where control systems for forestry equipment were developed. Chris holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
