Rogelio Flores is an accomplished legal scholar with extensive experience in human rights and constitutional law. Currently serving as a visiting professor at multiple institutions, including Università di Pisa and Universidad de Costa Rica, Rogelio has held positions since 2013 at the Instituto Interamericano de Derechos Humanos as a professor and coordinator of the Derecho Procesal de los Derechos Humanos collection. With a solid academic foundation, including a Licenciatura in Law from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and multiple advanced degrees in constitutional law and human rights from Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha and others, Rogelio has also contributed to the Inter-American Court of Human Rights and worked as a visiting research fellow at the Max Planck Institute. Since 2001, Rogelio has been the director of the Centro de Estudios de Actualización en Derecho and the Instituto de Estudios Constitucionales del Estado de Querétaro, further highlighting a distinguished career in legal education and human rights advocacy.
