Beatriz Ayala Quintanilla

Beatriz Ayala Quintanilla is a distinguished Medical Doctor and experienced research leader currently serving as the Executive Director of the Executive Research Office at the National Institute of Health in Lima, Peru, since September 2011. With expertise in promoting health research and technology, Beatriz has also held key positions such as Coordinator of the Clinical Trials Area and Director of the Gerencia de Medicina Complementaria at Seguro Social de Salud-EsSalud. Beatriz has contributed significantly to health policy formulation and clinical trial oversight while maintaining an academic role as an Honorary Visiting Fellow at La Trobe University. Educationally, Beatriz holds advanced degrees including a PhD in Public Health from La Trobe University and a Master of Public Health from the Europubhealth Program. Additional relevant qualifications include a PhD in Medicine from Hirosaki University and specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Beatriz continues to engage in health ethics and bioethics studies.
