David Villarreal-Zegarra

David Villarreal-Zegarra is an accomplished researcher and academic leader in the field of mental health and digital mental health. Currently serving as the Director of Research, Development and Innovation at Instituto Peruano de Orientación Psicológica, David leads interdisciplinary research teams on high-impact projects. David's extensive experience includes roles as a Research Associate, focusing on collaborative mental health research, and as Editor-in-Chief of the journal Interacciones, where David ensures the scientific integrity of published works. In addition to current research at Instituto Nacional de Salud, David has previously contributed to significant projects at Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia and Instituto Nacional de Salud del Niño. Educational credentials include a Master's in Public Health and Global Health from Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia and a degree in Psychology from Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos.
