Renata Mendes

Renata Mendes serves as the Executive Director at Instituto Semeia since June 2023, where the organization focuses on transforming protected areas into sources of pride for Brazilians through innovative management models. Renata is also a Co-founder and Director of Pra Ser Justo, a civil society movement dedicated to advocating for fair and transparent tax reform in Brazil since December 2020. Previously, from February 2017 to December 2023, Renata held various positions at Endeavor Brasil, including Director of Institutional and Government Affairs, where efforts were concentrated on improving business regulations and fostering public-private sector relationships. Additionally, Renata has contributed to RenovaBR both as a Mentor and Teacher and has experience as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at the Universidade de São Paulo, along with research roles at the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco. Renata holds a master's degree in Social Sciences from USP and completed a leadership program at LSE in 2021.
