Jorine Vermaire currently serves as a Research Coordinator at Instituut Verbeeten since June 2022. Prior experience includes a PhD position at UMC Utrecht from December 2015 to April 2022, focusing on assessing quality of life related to mastication, swallowing, and salivary flow in head and neck cancer patients. Jorine also worked as a Research Assistant involved in the Net-Qubic cohort study, capturing longitudinal quality of life data for patients. Other internships include a qualitative study on perceptions of facial paralysis patients at Radboudumc, research on chewing differences among children with cerebral palsy at Sint Maartenskliniek, influenza surveillance analysis with the World Health Organization, and perceptual learning at the Donders Institute. Jorine holds a Master of Science in Clinical Human Movement Sciences from Radboud University and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from the same institution. Education commenced at Ostrea Lyceum Goes, culminating in secondary education with a focus on Nature and Health.
