Lorah Neville

Lorah Neville has an extensive work experience spanning several fields and roles. Lorah began their professional journey as a Middle School Teacher in the Kyrene Elementary School District in 1991. After five years, they transitioned to the role of Assistant Principal until 2001. In the same district, they served as a Principal from 2001 to 2007 and then became the Director of Curriculum K-12 until 2011 in the Chandler Unified School District. From 2011 to 2016, Lorah was the Executive Director at the Kyrene School District, followed by their role as the Superintendent at the Union Elementary School District from 2016 to 2018.

In 2018, Lorah became an Adjunct Instructor at Northern Arizona University and continued until 2020. Concurrently, they joined Arizona State University in 2019 as an Academic Associate, which lasted until 2020. From 2019-2022, Lorah worked as a Leadership Coach and a Leadership Consultant at Learning Sciences International. Additionally, they served as an Educational Leadership Consultant at Instructional Empowerment from 2019 to present. Lastly, from 2021 to present, they are a Beat the Odds Facilitator at the Center for the Future of Arizona.

Furthermore, Lorah has worked as an Independent Contractor since 2007, where they facilitated various projects, contract negotiations, focus groups, and meetings in educational settings.

Lorah Neville attended Arizona State University from 1988 to 1991, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Education. Following their undergraduate studies, Lorah proceeded to Northern Arizona University, where they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General. The specific start and end years for their master's degree program are unknown.
