Hooman Maleknejad

Hooman Maleknejad has a diverse work experience in various software engineering roles. Hooman is currently a Principal Software Engineer at Insulet Corporation since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Insulet Corporation from April 2020 to February 2022. In 2019, Hooman founded and served as the CEO of Engyne.io, a company that developed a patent-pending authentication and task delegation platform. Hooman was also a Volunteer Community Organizer at 1 Million Cups from June 2019 to April 2020.

Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Hooman worked as a Senior Software Engineer at BlackBerry from September 2016 to May 2019. In earlier stages of their career, Hooman held the position of Systems Engineering Manager at CareFusion from August 2005 to January 2013. Before that, they worked as a Software Engineering Lead at Mitchell International in 2004, where they contributed to the development of eMitchell, a web-based hosted portal for car insurance companies. Hooman also served as the Director of Software Development at XiRA from 2001 to 2003.
