Mara Braness

Mara Braness, PHR has extensive work experience in human resources. Mara is currently the Global Vice President of Human Resources at Insulet Corporation. Prior to this role, Mara worked at ResMed where they held various positions, including Vice President of People (HR) Business Partner for the Global Sleep and Respiratory Care Business. Mara also served as the Vice President of Global People Operations and held senior director and director positions within the company. Before ResMed, Mara worked at Accelrys as a Senior Human Resources Generalist and at Aerotek as a Technical Recruiter. Overall, Mara has a strong background in HR leadership, business partnering, talent acquisition, talent management, and global people operations.

Mara Braness, PHR has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Economics from the University of San Diego, which they earned from 1995 to 1999. In addition, they have a Certification in Human Resources from San Diego State University, obtained from 2001 to 2006. Mara also holds the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from HRCI.
