Amra Porobic

Amra Porobic has over 25 years of experience in library and information services, currently serving as Manager of Library Services at the Insurance Bureau of Canada since November 1998. Responsibilities include business and legal research, training, web content management, social media, taxonomies, and expertise in CRM Dynamics and SharePoint. Prior experience includes roles as an Indexer/Editor at Gale Group, where indexing of print and electronic periodicals and thesaurus development were key tasks, and as a Librarian at Library Services Bureau, providing support to over 50 law libraries in the Greater Toronto Area. Amra also briefly worked as a Reference Librarian for the Ontario Ministry of Community and Social Services. Education includes a B.A. from the University of Sarajevo, completed in 1986, and a Master's in Library Science obtained in 1991.
