Barbara Sulzenko

Vice President at Insurance Bureau of Canada

Barbara Sulzenko has held various roles throughout their work experience. Barbara began their career as a policy analyst for the government of Canada from 1972 to 1974. From 1976 to 1979, they served as the Director of Policy for the Consumers Assn of Canada. In 1985, they joined the Ontario Government as the Chief of Staff for the Minister of Consumer/Commercial Relations/Labour/Women's Issues until 1990. In 1997, Sulzenko became the Director of External Relations for the College of Nurses of Ontario, where they led initiatives to upgrade educational requirements for registered nurses. In 2008, they joined the Insurance Bureau of Canada as the Vice President. Additionally, Sulzenko worked as a Senior Consultant for the same company at an unspecified time.

Barbara Sulzenko has a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees in Economics and Political Science from McGill University. Barbara also holds a Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree in Education from the University of Toronto. Prior to their undergraduate studies, they received a diploma in general studies from Kew Forest School.
