Rishi Tibriwal

Rishi Tibriwal has extensive work experience in finance and leadership roles. Rishi is currently serving as the Vice President Finance and Chief Financial Officer at the Insurance Bureau of Canada. Prior to this, they held the role of Board Member & Audit Committee Chair at Melior Resources Inc. Rishi also worked as the Vice President - Portfolio Management at Brookfield Asset Management, where they were responsible for overseeing finance and operations across various infrastructure entities. Rishi has also served as a Project Lead for Finance Transformation at Magna International, where they identified and implemented improvements in financial reporting processes. Before that, they were the Chief Financial Officer of Gravitas Financial Inc./The Mint Corporation, where they handled internal and external reporting and assisted with investment due diligence. Rishi also served as the Chief Financial Officer of Carpathian Gold Inc., overseeing financial statements, budgeting, and implementing ERP systems. Prior to their industry roles, they worked at Ernst & Young and Andersen, leading assurance engagements and providing financial advisory services to multinational clients. Rishi Tibriwal completed their B Comm degree at the University of Mumbai from 1986 to 1991. Rishi then obtained their CA degree from ICAI, India in Finance and Accounting from 1991 to 1994. During the same period, they also earned their CFA degree from Chartered Financial Analysts in Financial Management and Securities. In 1992 to 1995, Rishi pursued an MBA degree in Finance from Newport University. Finally, they completed their CA degree in Finance and Accounting at ICAO, Canada from 2000 to 2002.
