Arvydas Kubilius has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and technology. Arvydas started their career as a Summer Intern at Wix.com in 2017. Later, they became the President of the Computer Science Society (CSS) at the University of Birmingham, where they successfully organized various tech workshops, talks, and hackathons for students while maintaining connections with top technology companies for sponsorship opportunities.
In 2018, Arvydas worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Uber, where they developed a service to manage key puppet, clusto, and package settings. Arvydas also created an embedded etcd cluster and handled calls from every host in the company. Arvydas continued their internship at Featurespace, where they contributed to fraud detection by building an entity resolution solution deployed in prominent financial corporations worldwide.
Arvydas joined Uber again in 2019 as a Software Engineer Intern, contributing to various projects within the company. In 2020, they became a Software Engineer at eezylife Inc., a seed round startup, where they served as the tech lead of the recommendation engine and played a vital role as one of the founding engineers.
From 2022 to 2023, Arvydas worked at Two Sigma as a Software Engineer, focusing on software development projects. Currently, they are employed at Insurance Quantified as a Software Engineer, starting in 2023.

Arvydas Kubilius completed their secondary education at Kaunas John Paul II Gymnasium from 2011 to 2016. Afterward, they enrolled at the University of Birmingham in 2016 and graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science with an Industrial Year. Additionally, in 2017, they attended a course on Data Science and ML techniques in Python.
