Myriam Blanchette

Myriam Blanchette is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in various roles, currently serving as Senior Legal Counsel at Intact since November 2024. Prior experience includes positions as Avocate at Normandin Beaudry and Senior Legal Counsel at Groupe financier PEAK, where oversight of complaints and investigation teams was also part of the responsibilities. Myriam has also held positions at KPMG Canada as a Senior Consultant and at National Bank of Canada as a Senior Advisor for Regulatory Compliance, focusing on broker dealer regulations. Previous roles include tax advisory at Cirque du Soleil, legal advisory at National Bank of Canada, investigator at Autorité des marchés financiers, and analyst at Laurentian Bank of Canada. Myriam holds a Master’s in Tax Law from Université de Sherbrooke, a Bachelor of Laws from Université de Montréal, a certificate in Chinese law from China University of Political Science and Law, and has completed a semester abroad in Common Law at University College Cork.
