Marc Hamel has extensive experience in sales and marketing roles within the biotech and laboratory research industry. Marc is currently the VP of Sales North America at INTEGRA Biosciences, where they oversee all sales activities for the North American Direct Sales and technical Service teams. Prior to this, they were the Director of Sales N. America at the same company, responsible for selling and supporting laboratory research facilities with liquid handling products.
Before joining INTEGRA Biosciences, Hamel held the position of Director of Global Marketing and International Sales at Horizon Technology, Inc., where they expanded the company's global footprint through training, awareness campaigns, and international travel. Marc also worked closely with dealers and end-users in Asia.
Hamel also served as the VP of Global Sales at Digilab, Inc., where they played a key role in sales strategy and execution. Marc was responsible for driving revenue growth and managing global sales activities.
Earlier in their career, Hamel worked as the VP of Marketing/Product Dev. at VIAFLO Corp., where they played a vital role in launching the company and its innovative liquid handling instruments and consumables.
Hamel also has experience in sales and marketing with Matrix/Fisher Scientific and Matrix Technologies, where they had global P/L responsibility and traveled extensively to support sales teams and distributors worldwide.
Marc Hamel's education history includes an MBA enrollment in Marketing at Rivier University in 1991. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Industrial Technology at the University of Massachusetts Lowell between 1985 and 1989.
