Micah Nessan

Micah Nessan is the current General Counsel at Integral Ad Science. Prior to this, Nessan served as the Assistant Corporate Counsel at Piksel Inc., overseeing and handling all legal matters impacting the international video management software and services company by providing legal advice and risk assessments to the senior management team.

During Nessan's time at Piksel Inc., they negotiated, reviewed, and drafted software license, reseller, distribution, strategic partnership, vendor, professional service (and related SOWs), confidentiality, and other operational agreements. They also updated corporate governance policies in connection with the company's recent reorganization and prepared public disclosure filings while monitoring compliance with securities laws and corporate governance.

In addition, Nessan reviewed and drafted employment contracts, consulting agreements, and other employment-related documentation while also counseling the HR department on employment-related issues and managing compliance with employment laws and regulations. They also supervised litigation matters, including complex class actions and derivative cases, commercial lawsuits, and employment lawsuits. Furthermore, they oversaw outside counsel on litigation strategy and minimizing risk exposure while also coordinating outside counsel with respect to internal forensic investigations, patent portfolio development and protection, and customer and vendor disputes. Lastly, Nessan reviewed and revised M&A agreements and advised on strategic acquisitions/dispositions.
