Kris Morimoto, vice president of risk management at Integral Senior Living, comes to us with nearly 20 years of experience in risk management and in the senior living industry. Prior to joining ISL, Kris worked as a senior client and risk executive for Propel Insurance for several years.
She has a strong background in sales and ensuring that all the necessary protocols and procedures are in place to safeguard the company and its assets. She received her B.A. in business administration from Pacific Lutheran University, is a licensed casualty insurance broker in the state of Washington, and has her CA RCFE license.
Kris serves as the vice president on the board of directors for Alpha Supported Living Services, a nonprofit agency in the Seattle area that provides 24-hour care to adults with developmental disabilities. She sees many parallels between providing care for the developmentally disabled and providing care for the elderly, particularly in memory care.
In her free time, you can find Kris in her happy place – the great outdoors – with her husband and their two Dalmatians, Rio and Kobi. She is an endurance athlete and has competed in several Half Ironman triathlons and Olympic distance triathlons. Some of her favorite things to do outdoors are bicycling, riding motorcycles, trail running, swimming in the open water with her triathlon friends, and watching bald eagles fish in the lake while she swims.
Kris finds joy in providing service to others and is thrilled to be back working on the private side of risk management with the opportunity to have an impact on the lives of residents.
