Mark Reaves has a diverse work experience in the field of architecture and construction. Mark started their career as a Designer and Contractor at Keystone Construction from 1993 to 1999, where they developed designs for private residences and worked as a contractor on various projects. From 2000 to 2006, they worked as a Staff Designer at TMP Architecture, Inc, where they contributed to the programming, schematic design, and design development of several projects. Mark also served as a Job Captain during construction documentation and administration phases. Reaves then joined SHW Group as a Senior Designer from 2006 to 2011, leading teams during programming, design, and construction documentation phases of various projects. Since 2011, they have been working at Integrated Design Solutions, starting as the Assistant Director of Architecture, Senior Associate, and eventually becoming the Director of Athletics and Rec Sports. In this role, they manage project staffing, leads teams during programming and design phases, and takes the lead in writing proposals and interviewing for new work.
Mark Reaves has a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from Lawrence Technological University, which they obtained from 1996 to 2000. Mark continued their education at the same university and completed a Masters degree in Architecture from 2004 to 2005. Prior to their undergraduate studies, Mark attended Lansing Community College from 1992 to 1995, where they focused on Architecture. Mark has also obtained additional certifications, including being an Honored Listee at the Marquis Who's Who in 2023, and earning the LEED AP BD+C certification from the U.S. Green Building Council in 2007. Mark is also a Licensed Architect certified by the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs in 2007.
