Darren Cairns

Darren Cairns has a diverse work experience in the field of laser engineering. Darren started their career at Coherent Inc. as a Summer Research Student in May 2017. From there, they joined Optoscribe Ltd as a Research and Development Engineer in November 2017, where they worked until August 2020. In August 2020, Darren joined Integrated Graphene as a Laser Engineer. Darren eventually worked their way up to become a Senior Laser Engineer in June 2022.

Darren Cairns pursued their education in the field of Photonics and Optoelectronic devices at the University of St Andrews. From 2016 to 2017, they completed a Master of Science degree (MSc) in this specialization.
