Roy Burns

Roy Burns has extensive work experience in the media and entertainment industry. Roy currently holds the position of Senior Vice President - Media Solutions at Integrated Media Technologies, where they engage with clients to understand their current and ideal future state, providing reference architecture and workflows. Prior to this role, they served as Vice President of Media Solutions and Director of Media Solutions at the same company. Roy also worked as a Consulting Systems Engineer, where they partnered with clients to map their media workflows and recommend scalable solutions.

Before joining Integrated Media Technologies, Roy worked at Crown Media Family Networks as the Director of Media Operations, where they managed digital asset management, media storage, and collaborative workflows. Roy also served as a Media Systems Engineer and Business Analyst at the same company. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Consultant at Zylan Computer Consulting, an Author at Hal Leonard Corporation, and an Apple Systems Administrator at Musicians Institute.

Roy Burns obtained a Journeyman Certificate in Recording Engineering from Musicians Institute in 2002-2003. In addition, they have several certifications including a Certificate of Completion in Process Management from the American Management Association in 2014, a Certificate of Completion in AMA's Comprehensive Project Management Workshop in 2011, an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services in 2020, and various Apple certifications. Roy also has certifications in Quantum StorNext Concepts and Architecture, Quantum StorNext File System Administration, and Quantum StorNext System Allocation and Performance.
