Israel Cortes

Israel Cortes has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Israel started their career in 2001 as a Partner and Director at TELPRO-TI. Israel then had an internship at Larusmiani in 2009. Afterwards, they interned at Harris Corporation before joining Pole Star Space Applications in 2010 as a Sales & Business Development Manager for LATAM. In this role, they were responsible for establishing the Latin America office, training distributors and sales teams, and developing business relationships with maritime companies and government agencies in the region. Israel also managed projects in Mexico, Peru, Colombia, and Belize. In 2011, they became the VP Leadership Awards at the Graduate Business Forum, where they oversaw the leadership awards program for student leaders in top graduate business schools worldwide. In 2014, they joined Ingenieria y Supervision Integral SA as a Director, where they identified and developed new business opportunities, developed business strategies to achieve sales quotas, and managed international tenders and contracts. Israel also collaborated with business partners for alliances and distribution agreements for various projects. Most recently, they joined Integrated Monitoring, Inc. in 2018 as the VP LATAM, where they are currently involved in the company's operations.

Israel Cortes has a strong educational background with a focus on business and international trade. Israel obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth in 2009, specializing in MBA Exchange. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2009, they attended SDA Bocconi and earned another MBA degree, this time focusing on Finance & Strategy.

In 2005, Israel studied at the Universidad Iberoamericana in Ciudad de México, where they pursued International Trade. This experience lasted until 2005. Furthermore, they completed their undergraduate studies at the Universidad Panamericana from 1995 to 1999, earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in International Business.

In addition to their academic achievements, Israel Cortes also holds a certification as a Project Management Professional. Israel obtained this certification in August 2015 from the Project Management Institute.
