Marcial Velazquez

Marcial Velazquez has a strong background in laboratory management and supervision. Marcial is currently working as the Laboratory Director at Integrated Regional Laboratories since June 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Laboratory Director at CLINICA YAGUEZ, INC from February 2018 to June 2021. Marcial also served as the Laboratory Supervisor at Doctors Center Hospital Manati from April 2012 to February 2018. Before that, they worked as a Laboratory Specialist at Shands Teaching Hospital And Clinics, Inc. from November 2009 to December 2011, and as a Laboratory Manager at Shands Alachua General from November 2005 to November 2009. Marcial began their career as a Laboratory Supervisor at Cambridge Health Alliance from June 2002 to November 2005. In all these roles, Marcial demonstrated proficiency in coordinating daily tasks, implementing laboratory policies, evaluating employee performance, and maintaining compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Marcial Velazquez completed a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Microbiology, General from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez between 1992 and 1996. Subsequently, Marcial Velazquez pursued further education at the Inter American University of Puerto Rico, Bayamon from 1996 to 1997, obtaining another Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology/Technologist.
