Alan Schissel

Mr. Schissel, founder and chief executive officer, is a former sergeant with the New York City Police Department. Among many prestigious assignments during his tenure with the NYPD, Mr. Schissel was a certified instructor at the New York City Police Academy and in 1989 he was assigned to the Organized Crime Control Bureau’s Narcotics Division as an investigator.

Mr. Schissel received numerous department medals including; bronze star, 1990 unit citation award, induction into the NYPD Honor Legion and Certificate of Honor recipient from the NYPD Sergeants Benevolent Association.

Mr. Schissel founded the company in March 1994 after several high-profile assignments as a corporate investigator and security consultant at Corplex, Inc. and Kroll Associates. Over the past 27 years, Mr. Schissel has licensed the firm in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Florida, California, Ohio, Massachusetts with branch offices in four states.

In February 2009, Mr. Schissel expanded operations to 25 cities across the country pursuant to an exclusive business partnership with Deutsche Post-DHL Global Forwarding. Following the 9-11 Commission Act of 2007-Domestic Cargo Screening Mandate, Mr. Schissel developed a comprehensive nationwide Certified Cargo Screening Program (CCSP) for DHL Global Forwarding. Integrated’s CCSP has out lasted all providers and in August of 2012 won the recognition of The Department of Homeland Security and the TSA by being awarded Safety Act Certification and Designation. In June 2011, Mr. Schissel successfully obtained a GSA Contract for Integrated and was posted to the US General Services Administration vendor list.

Mr. Schissel’s contacts, both domestic and international, continue to broaden Integrated’s client base and scope of operations. This broad based experience has allowed Mr. Schissel to translate his unique vision into innovative strategies and solutions for individuals and business professionals seeking private investigation and corporate security services. Mr. Schissel holds a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice and is a long standing member of the American Society for Industrial Security, Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals, International Compliance Professionals Association and the Air Forwarders Association.
