Derek Sherwin

Derek Sherwin has extensive work experience in various managerial roles in the manufacturing and defense sectors. Derek began their career in 1985 as a CNC Mechanical Engineer at Blenkins Precision Engineering, specializing in the aerospace and automotive markets. Derek later worked at Homark Group as a Manufacturing Manager, overseeing CNC machine groups and sheet metal and plastic injection molding.

In 1995, Sherwin joined Pilkingtons Floor Tiles as a Production Manager, before moving to Scapa in 1998 as the Site Manager for their Lymington UK facility. At Scapa, they held several positions, including European Quality Manager and General Manager of Scapa France, where they managed adhesive manufacturing and coating.
