Aurora Jones

Aurora Jones, CCNA, has a diverse range of work experience. Aurora is currently working as a Field Service Manager at Integris since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked at CalTech from January 2019 to January 2023, where they held roles such as Field Services Manager, Tier 2 Engineer, and Tier I Engineer. In 2019, Aurora worked as an IT Support Technician at Apogee, Inc., assisting customers with connectivity issues. Aurora also has experience working at NASA as a Software Systems Coordinator, collaborating on Mars Rover recovery scenarios. Aurora was also involved in various leadership roles, including serving as an Officer for Honors in Action at Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society International. Other roles include being an Assistant Grow Operator at HannaLeigh Farm, a Junior Employee at Thundercloud Subs, and an Alumni at Girls Who Code.

Aurora Jones, CCNA, holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Network Operations and Security from Western Governors University, which they obtained from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they earned an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Computer Science from Austin Community College, where they studied from 2017 to 2019. Additionally, Aurora participated in the Girls Who Code program in 2016, specializing in Computer Science. Alongside their formal education, they have obtained several certifications, including CCNA from Cisco in May 2021, CompTIA Network+ ce Certification in March 2020, CompTIA Security+ in October 2020, CompTIA IT Operations Specialist – CIOS Stackable Certification in March 2020, CompTIA A+ ce Certification in February 2020, CompTIA Project+ in February 2021, and Linux Essentials 010 from the Linux Professional Institute in June 2021.
