Rick Malliton

Rick Malliton has a diverse work experience in the IT industry. Rick currently works as an Infrastructure Administrator at Iconic IT since June 2020. Prior to joining Iconic IT, Rick worked at Pearson from 2008 to 2019. Rick held the position of Cloud Engineer, Cloud Hosting and Operations where they managed and maintained governance for internal business unit AWS accounts. Rick also served as a Senior Systems Administrator, Windows at Pearson, where they supported architecture, deployment, and administration for servers hosting higher education online learning platforms and back-office applications. Rick led optimization and upgrade projects and successfully reduced server outage frequency. Before joining Pearson, Rick worked at eCollege as the Manager of IT Systems and Support, where they led a team and handled corporate desktops, servers, and back-office applications and services.

Rick Malliton holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance from the University of North Texas. Rick has also obtained additional certifications, including the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS), the ITIL Foundation Level from EXIN, and the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) from Microsoft. The specific dates of when they obtained these certifications are unknown.
