Matthew Bissen, AIA, is a Principal and Design Lead at Integrus Architecture, P.S., since October 2020. Bissen has significant academic involvement as a Part Time Faculty member in the Department of Architecture at the University of Washington since August 2016. Previous professional experience includes roles such as Director of Design & Research at McGranhan Architects from July 2014 to March 2020, and various teaching positions at Hunter College and Parsons the New School for Design. Bissen's architectural career includes notable projects at firms such as Ennead Architects LLP, Polshek Partnership, and Heery International, focusing on institutional and commercial designs. Bissen holds a Master’s Degree in Earth & Environmental Science from The Graduate Center, City University of New York and earned a M. Arch from Parsons School of Design, along with several other certifications and degrees related to architectural studies and sustainable design.
