Yasir Farooqui

Yasir Farooqui has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Yasir is currently the Co-Founder and Head of Engineering at Integry, a position they have held since June 2017. Prior to this, from October 2014 to May 2017, they worked at Convo.com as a Manager of Integrations.

Before joining Convo.com, Yasir worked at Vizteck Solutions from November 2013 to October 2014. During their time there, they held multiple roles including Solutions Architect/Technical Head, Assistant Project Manager, and Senior Software Engineer/Technical Lead. Yasir was responsible for architecting web and mobile applications, designing complex web service architectures, and leading development projects in various technologies including Drupal, PHP, Titanium, and Phonegap.

In addition to their experience in the private sector, Yasir Farooqui also worked as a Visiting Lecturer at IIUI from September 2011 to January 2012. In this role, they taught a course on Software Development Technologies, developed a customized curriculum, and delivered lectures to bridge the gap between university curriculum and industry practices.

Throughout their career, Yasir has demonstrated proficiency in a wide range of technologies including PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, and responsive designs, with expertise in Drupal application development. Yasir is skilled in project management, requirement analysis, proposal writing, and database design.

Yasir Farooqui completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the International Islamic University, Islamabad from 2003 to 2007. During this time, they focused on programming and databases. In 2014, they obtained a certification in NodeJS and MEAN Stack from NUST School of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science.
