Assaf Araki

Assaf Araki has over 20 years of work experience, starting in 1999 as a Government Employee at the Prime Minister's Office. From 2004 to 2006, they worked as a Data Analytics Software Developer at Intel Corporation, where they developed multiple frameworks for data extraction and transformation. Assaf then transitioned to the role of Data Analytics Technical Lead from 2006 to 2010, leading the team's technology ramp-up and developing AI solutions. From 2010 to 2013, Assaf served as a Big Data Analytics Architect & Pathfinding lead, implementing new big data and machine learning platforms and establishing the Intel Collaborative Research Institute for Computational Intelligence. Assaf then took on the role of Academy and Industry Relationship Manager from 2013 to 2016, organizing conferences and lectures and supporting engagements with customers. From 2016 to 2018, Assaf was the Academic Research lead and Strategy for Analytics, focusing on AI, machine learning, and analytics DBMS. Currently, they are an Investment Director at Intel Capital, a role they have held since 2018.

Assaf Araki obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Information System Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. Assaf completed this degree program from 1998 to 2002. Later, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the same university, completing it from 2003 to 2005.
