Gilberto A. Vargas

Gilberto Vargas is an experienced leader in sales and marketing, currently serving as Vice President and General Manager of Datacenter & AI Sales and Marketing at Intel Corporation since August 2002. In this role, Gilberto leads a global team of over 1000, responsible for generating approximately $15 billion in annual revenue from Intel's Xeon and AI product lines. Previous positions at Intel include Vice President and General Manager of Cloud and Enterprise Sales, and Director of Business Operations, where responsibilities encompassed pricing, forecasting, and strategic supply management. Additionally, Gilberto has extensive experience overseeing global sales for Hewlett Packard, aligning business objectives across product development and market strategies. Gilberto's educational background includes an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management and participation in the Stanford-Intel Executive Accelerator program in 2016, as well as a BA in Business Economics from UCLA.
