Elizabeth Santana has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Elizabeth currently holds the role of Director of the Conceptual Research & Design Department at Inteleos, where they oversee the execution of future-focused projects and works closely with the CEO and volunteer leaders. Their previous experience includes serving as the Manager of Innovation at ARDMS and the Director of Exam Development at the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Project Manager at Partners in Association Management and as Deputy Executive Director at Association Management Resources. In the early years of their career, Elizabeth pursued their passion for acting and achieved success in various stage and screen productions, including Broadway and Off-Broadway shows. Elizabeth studied at renowned institutions such as the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts and the Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum.
Elizabeth Santana holds a Master's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in International/Global Studies & Innovation from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, which they obtained from 2018 to 2021. Elizabeth also holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Communications with a minor in Spanish from Chapman University, which they completed from 1986 to 1990. Additionally, Santana has earned several certifications, including the Certified Professional in Talent Development from ATD CI - The ATD Certification Institute in April 2022 and the I.C.E. Certified Credentialing Professional from the Institute for Credentialing Excellence in October 2021. Elizabeth has also obtained various specializations in areas such as Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Financial Management, and Strategic Leadership & Management from the Gies College of Business. Santana further holds certifications in Tableau Desktop and Gamification of Learning, and they are a Certified Association Executive (CAE) from ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership, which they attained in December 2006.
