Hannah Simmons has a diverse work experience spanning across multiple organizations and roles. Hannah has been working at Inteleos since 2015 and currently holds the position of Director of Global Business Growth. In this role, they manage a team of consultants and oversees strategic projects, contract negotiations, market research, and project execution.
Before their current role, Hannah served as the Director of Business Development and the Inteleos Foundation at Inteleos. Hannah was responsible for owning products and global health ventures, driving the overall mission and strategy of the organization.
Prior to Inteleos, Hannah worked as the Global Business Development Manager - Asia, where they built and expanded education and certification programs in China, South Korea, and the Middle East. Hannah also strengthened and improved global business development programs by identifying new markets and creating outreach strategies.
Hannah has also worked as a Business Development Manager at Inteleos, where they facilitated the company's Latin American expansion and certification of over 200 individuals. Hannah played a key role in spearheading the ultrasound certification's expansion in China, utilizing business intelligence software and partnerships to improve patient care.
Before joining Inteleos, Hannah worked at the National Council for Behavioral Health as a Senior Associate and Associate. In these roles, they coordinated consultations with healthcare organizations to integrate primary care and mental health care. Hannah also oversaw the national Whole Health Action Management Peer Support operations.
Hannah's earlier work experience includes a role as a Conference Coordinator at The Washington Campus, where they organized conferences and events on the connection between business and government. Hannah also worked as an Intern - Energy and Environment at Dutko, attending hearings and conferences and preparing briefings on environmental topics.
Hannah began their career as a NAFTA Intern at the Embassy of Mexico.
Throughout their career, Hannah has demonstrated strong project management skills, cultural sensitivity, and expertise in business development and healthcare strategies.
Hannah Simmons, MA, PMP, CSPO has a diverse education history. Hannah obtained their BA in International Studies from Elon University, graduating in 2008. Hannah then pursued a Masters of Government degree from Johns Hopkins University Advanced Academic Programs, completing their studies in 2011. In addition to their academic achievements, Hannah has also obtained several certifications including PMP (Project Management Institute) in 2017, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) and Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from Scrum Alliance in 2020. Hannah is also a Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner, having obtained the certification in 2023. Hannah's dedication to personal and professional development is evident through their additional certification as a Certified Application Counselor in 2013 and their participation in the Women in Leadership Program Advisory Council at The George Washington University School of Business.
