Adam Rua

Adam Rua has a diverse work experience that spans over several years in various leadership and managerial roles. Adam started their career at Sacred Heart University as an IT Level One: Onsite Support Specialist from 2006 to 2008. Adam then joined General Electric (GE) in 2008 and held positions such as IMLP, Service Owner, and Process Operations Leader & Shared Services Owner until 2014. At GE Capital, they worked as an IT Program Manager - DevOps from 2014 to 2016. Adam then moved to GE Digital and served as the Leader of IT Operations & Cloud Build and later as a Product Manager for Premium from 2016 to 2017. Adam joined Datto in 2017 and progressed through various roles, including Project Manager, Senior Technical Project Manager, Senior Manager of Infrastructure - Data Centers, Director of Infrastructure Engineering, and finally, Senior Director of Infrastructure Engineering until July 2023. Currently, they are working as the VP of Engineering at Intelerad Medical Systems since 2023. Overall, Adam Rua has a strong background in engineering and infrastructure management.

Adam Rua earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Sacred Heart University between 2004 and 2008. Adam also obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services in December 2017. In addition, they hold the ITIL v3 Foundation certification, although the institution and exact date of obtaining are unknown.
