Marcos Alcure

Marcos Alcure has a diverse work experience across various industries. Marcos currently works at INTELIE by Viasat as a Coordenador de desenvolvimento de software since 2023. Prior to that, they were a Data scientist at Construtora Rivello from 2020 to 2023, where they developed solutions such as bots to automate recurring tasks. From 2017 to 2020, Marcos worked as a Data Analyst at Colegio Lerote, where they used student data to assist teachers and developed a control panel using Power BI. Earlier in their career, Marcos was a Petroleum Engineer at PETROBRAS PETROLEO BRASILEIRO SA from 2007 to 2016, where they designed and coordinated drilling programs. Marcos also worked as an Application Engineer at Baker Hughes, a GE company from 2004 to 2006.

Marcos Alcure's education history begins in 2003, when they pursued a Postgraduation in Petroleum Engineering at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro. In 2008, they furthered their education by obtaining a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from the same university, which they completed in 2010. Moving forward, in 2014, Marcos attended Petrobras, where they underwent training in Well Drilling/Driller. Finally, in 2021, they enrolled in the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program with a specialization in Data Science at USP - Universidade de São Paulo, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
