Hai Tang

Hai Tang has extensive work experience in the field of satellite technology and communication. Hai is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of the Advanced Development Center at Intellian Technologies, a position they started in October 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Project Kuiper at Amazon as the Manager of Customer Terminal Development from June 2020 to October 2021. Before that, Hai Tang was employed at OneWeb, Ltd as the Senior Director of Engineering - User Terminals from August 2015 to June 2020. Hai also served as the Vice President of Advanced Development at VT iDirect from May 2000 to August 2015. Hai began their career at Hughes Network Systems in May 1991 and held various roles, eventually becoming an Associate Engineer to Senior Technical Manager until May 2000.

Hai Tang earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on RF and Systems from the University of Maryland - A. James Clark School of Engineering in the years 1988 to 1992. Following this, Hai Tang continued their education and obtained a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University during the period of 1992 to 1994.
